Podiatric Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Heck enjoys treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics. He is qualified to perform conservative and surgical treatments for a wide scope of foot and ankle problems, including traumatic injury and diabetic care. A native of Alberta, Canada, Dr. Daniel Heck received his undergraduate bachelor's training at Portland State University in Oregon after moving to the U.S. in 1989. Tired of enduring frigid temperatures all his life, he subsequently packed his bags and moved to the Sunshine State, pursuing his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Dr. Heck went on to complete his residency training in Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle at Northwest Medical Center, where he served as a chief resident from 2007 to 2008.

Dr. Heck is on staff to perform surgical procedures at seven Palm Beach County area hospitals and sees patients weekly at the wound care centers of Wellington Regional Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center. Pursuant to his knack for teaching, he is responsible for training podiatric residents/students at JFK Medical Center. As a member of their residency counsel, he provides instruction pertaining to both office and surgical education. When he’s not busy devoting his time to the advancement of podiatric medicine and surgery, Dr. Heck enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife and four children.
